We present an easy take on a beverage featured on our latest drinks list. It's a batch prepared mix which is bursting full of flavours associated with festive period, making it ideal for a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining syrup you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or for additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place all the items in a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, turn off the heat allowing it to cool entirely. Pour to a sterilised bottle, close it keeping it in the fridge, it will last for around one month.
To make Batch Mix: Combine all the liquid ingredients into a big jug, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the premix into your mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate lightly for one minute to cool it down. Pour to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and finish using a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
